Water Softener Operation Mechanism:

1.Untreated water passes through resin beads inside the device

2. The resin is charged with sodium ions with a negative charge

3. Calcium and magnesium salts are cations with a positive charge

4. The positive charges (calcium and magnesium) are attracted to the resin and adhere to its surface

5. The resulting water is free from water hardness-causing elements, and it is distributed throughout the house’s plumbing system

6. The brine tank is used to regenerate the resin beads
